It is with great sadness that the family of John Robert McNabb “Bob”, announce his passing on Thursday, June 16th, 2022 in his 91st year. Predeceased by his father John, mother Barbara (nee Hollingshead) and brother Billy (wife Pauline resides in Toronto area). A husband, father and friend extraordinaire, loved by so very many as his kind nature has touched us all. He will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife, Grace Baker-McNabb, daughters, Barb (Paul), Debi and son, Kevin (Mirella) and step-children: Jim (Nancy), Cheryl (his angel caregiver), Brenda, Daryl, and Connie as well as many, many friends that were like family to him.

Bob was born in Toronto on 2nd August 1930. He enjoyed helping with his families Veribest Candies Store with Uncle Howard Vair who invented the chocolate turtle while growing up in the “Big Smoke” eventually he moved east and travelled as a Salesman throughout Canada up until his retirement in 1990. Bob was very active with Walden Seniors as Vice President and Naughton Seniors, he and Grace enjoyed playing shuffleboard, bowling, and also 8 ball. He loved to fish and camp and they enjoyed a trip in his RV out to the west coast. He lived a full life, having enjoyed spending wonderful time with his family and many friends and will be dearly missed.
