In Loving Memory of Ruby Elizabeth Butler (nee Rollins), 84 years, who passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, Dec. 12th,2022 at Health Sciences North/Maison McCulloch Hospice.

Beloved wife of Dennis John Butler of 58 years of Sudbury. Loving mother of Philip of Elliot Lake, Teina Pitawanakwat (Jeff) of Manitowaning, and Gary of Sudbury. Cherished grandmother of Cody, Jayden, Victoria and Jacob. Dear sister of Laura Gustin (late Del), Shirley Cull (late Gordie), Arnie (late Bev). Predeceased by her parents Clifford and Anna (nee Lewis) Rollins, brothers Tom (Jenny), Bill (late Marilyn), Herbie (Marg), Charlie (Lorrance), and Harold. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Fondly remembered by the Butler family. Ruby was an avid sports fan and played competitive ball back in the day. She could often be found at the arena watching her children, and later her grandchildren, play hockey. She and Dennis were awarded most dedicated fans on more than one occasion. Ruby loved spending time at her camp on Constance Lake and thoroughly enjoyed hosting many family gatherings.

Ruby also loved to travel, knit, dance, and work. She loved her family, relatives and friends and was always willing to help and support anyone in need. Special thanks to Shirley, the Elizabeth Centre, and Health Sciences North/Maison McCulloch Hospice.

Cremation at Park Lawn Crematorium. Donations to Maison McCulloch Hospice would be appreciated.

Memorial Mass will be held at St. John the Evangelist Church, Church St., Garson, on Friday, July 7, 2023 at 10am. (Friends may gather at the church after 9:45am Friday, July 7, 2023).
