MESSIER, Robert

It is with great sorrow that the family announces his passing surrounded by those he loved in Sudbury on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at the age of 86 years. Beloved husband of Lena Messier. Loving stepfather of Angel Morin, Ramona Driscoll, Sandra Guido, Donna Drysdale, Danny Daigle and father of Gerry Messier, Patrick Messier and Patricia Messier. Robert will be missed by his entire family and friends. Robert was proud to have been retired from Falconbridge after many years of service. He loved camping, campfires, hosting gatherings and being outdoors. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. followed by a chapel service at 1 p.m. In memory of Robert, donations can be made by cheque or online to the Parkinson’s Canada or Alzheimer Society. www.cooperativefuneralhome.ca
