MINKLER, Richard Phillip - In Loving Memory of Richard Phillip Minkler, 58 years, who passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2010. Loving brother of Betty (husband Bill) Gorham. Uncle of Troy, Chad, and Jay Gorham and Lori Huskinson. Father of Sherry-Lynn Rioux. Predeceased by his parents Phillip and Emma (Stoneham) Minkler, sister Cathy and his brother Bob. Remembered by special friends Inge, and Dave. Rick loved Beautiful British Columbia and spent many years working there as a logging truck driver. He also loved being on the ocean with his brother Bob, fishing, diving and watching the whales. Rick had also lived in Grande Cache, Alberta, bartending then managing the Grande Cache Hotel; spending many hours in the mountains, dirt biking with Bob and Cathy. Returning to Sudbury two years ago, Rick enjoyed, and was proud to volunteer at the Sudbury Food Bank. Memorial Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel JACKSON & BARNARD FUNERAL HOME 233 Larch St., Sudbury Saturday, March 6th, 2010 at 1 p.m Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium.
