MIRON, Cleo Patricia (Nee Gamble) 1936-2010 Passed away suddenly but not unexpectedly surrounded by those who loved her most on July 14th, 2010, after a long battle with cancer. Wife and lifelong companion of Ken. Daughter of Bill & Rose Gamble and sister of Bill (pre-deceased); Pre-deceased by daughter Lauie (John) Getchell of Levack; Deeply missed by son Jim (Sandra) Miron of Barbers Bay; and daughters Merci (Darrin) Black of Lively and Vickie (Bruce) Newlove of Kitchener. Devoted grandmother of Jolene (Solomon) Wheatly; Christine (Marc) Morissette; Valerie Getchell, Sam & Max Miron; Rebecca & Holly Black. Proud great grandmother of Noah, Ethan, Mathew & Ryan. Cleo lived in Levack for many years and recently moved to Sudbury. She graduated as a registered nurse from St. Josephs Hospital, but chose to spend most of her life as a homemaker and was active in the community. She returned to nursing later in life. She was a loving & devoted Mom, Grandma & Great Grandma. She loved spending time at the camp and traveling to warm locales in the winter. Cleo loved to laugh and never took life too seriously. Special thanks to the myriad of persons who helped her during her long fight. Everyone was always kind, courteous, helpful, patient and friendly.
