MONGEON, Maurice - In Loving Memory of Maurice “Moe“ Mongeon, 63 years, who passed away Saturday, July 3rd, 2010 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital. Beloved spouse of Vera (née Busby) Mongeon. Loving father of Roger (spouse Laura), Devon, Jessica, stepdaughter Katie (spouse Marc) and stepson Erich. Cherished grandfather of Max, Maddie, Ally, Alexander, Eli, Loghan, Josh, and Hayley. Predeceased by his parents Leo and Beatrice (née Leclerc) Mongeon. Sadly missed by his brothers Ronald (Emilienne), Ray, and sister Anne, and his nieces and nephews Ashley, Gilles, Cassandra, Keith, Jeremiah, Andre and Leena. Maurice loved to dance, loved to eat a good meal, enjoyed yard sales and shooting pool at the Legion and when playing cards could be heard asking to “pass the ace“. He could often be found working on his RVs and camper vans, and whether by RV or by Harley, he enjoyed setting off with no particular destination in mind. He also loved spending time with his family, particularly his beloved grandchildren. Funeral Service In the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St., Wednesday, July 7th, 2010 at 11 am. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Donations to the United Way would be appreciated. (Friends may call 2-5; 7-9 pm Tuesday).
