It is with great sorrow the family announces her peaceful passing at the age of 88 on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at Health Sciences North.
Loving wife and best friend of Donald Montgomery of 60 years. Cherished and loved mother of Robert (Patti) and Cynthia Cacciotti (Dino), special grandmother to Chase Montgomery (Amanda), Craig Montgomery (Chloe), Cody Cacciotti (Alix), Kaitlin Cacciotti and dear great granny to Carter, Clark, Cal, Andrew, Gia, Charlie Montgomery, Raffi & Aila Cacciotti. Predeceased by her parents George and Maggie Leach, sister Lillian, brothers Kenneth and Alan. Loved by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Margaret was happiest when she was surrounded by her family and friends at camp on Millard Lake which she had been adventuring to since she was 11 years old. She loved to sing, dance and loved a good party.
A Celebration of her Life will be held at the Lockerby Legion (2200 Long Lake Road, Sudbury, ON) on Thursday, April 13, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
