MULCAHY, Anne (nee McMahon) - In loving memory of Anne (nee McMahon) Mulcahy, 82 years, of Sudbury, who passed away on Thursday, August 20th 2009 at the SRH - St Joseph's Health Center. Anne was born in Fitzroy Harbour, she married Gerald Mulcahy in 1955 in Ottawa. A longtime and well liked New Sudbury resident. Anne had been a school bus driver for many years. A devout Roman Catholic she attended St. Andrew the Apostle Church and she belonged to the parish CWL. She was an avid and skilled bowler and she enjoyed crossword puzzles. Anne was devoted to her loving family especially her precious grandchildren in whom she took great pride and interest in their activities and accomplishment. The light and love of life will continue to inspire and influence all she knew. Beloved wife of Gerald Mulcahy. Loving mother Joan, Karen (husband Rick Rottman, Kevin (wife Sue), Maureen, Sean and Diane (husband Gilles Bisier). Cherished grandmother of Joseph, Hannah, Emma, Darcy, Renée, Kyle, Erik, Karin and Lisa. Dear daughter of Daniel and Margaret McManon predeceased. Dear sister of J.J. McMahon, Frank McMahon, Eileen McClellan and Rev Fr. Joseph McMahon all predeceased. Sadly missed by nieces and nephews. Resting at the JACKSON & BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St. Sudbury. Funeral Mass in St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 1250 Barrydowne Rd. Sudbury, Monday, August 24th 2009 at 10 am. Cremation at the Parklawn Crematorium. Prayers 7:30 pm Sunday. In lieu of flowers donations to Northeast Ontario Research Cancer Center or SRH - Heart Equipment Fund would be appreciated.
