In loving memory of Francis Kenneth Naponse, 84 years. His sunrise took place on February 12, 1937 and his sunset was April 9th, 2021 at Health Sciences North. Survived by his loving wife Gladys (Naveau) Naponse. Special mention to his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Dear son of Agatha (Gabow) and Joseph Naponse both predeceased. Beloved brother to Robert Naponse predeceased, Joseph Jr. “Ti-Joe” Naponse of St. Catharines, Donald “Donnie” Naponse predeceased, Barbara Naponse predeceased, and Joel McGregor (Rosalyn) of Birch Island. Joined by his first wife Rita (Stevens) Naponse predeceased. He loved everyone with all of his heart, fully and completely. Always with a smile and happy to see you. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, making a fire and being active outdoors. You could always find him at diner’s club or cruising the bush enjoying the land. He was known for helping in the community and having a good sense of humour, joking with cousins and friends. A strong man with a will that would never give up, taking things in stride but always standing for what he believed in. Francis always showed love and care with all his heart as he did with everything in his life…full and whole heartedly. Baamaapii, Miinwaa, Kawaabmin, Noos, Mishoomis, Niwiidigimaagan. Funeral service in the Atikameksheng Anishnawbek Complex, Whitefish Lake First Nations on Friday, April 16, 2021 at 11am with a maximum of 24 people in attendance. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Friends may call at the complex after 2pm Thursday. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home.
