Obonsawin, Lucille (née Labine) 1924-2022
The family announces with sorrow her death in Sudbury on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at the age of 97 years. Daughter of the late Oscar and Rosa Labine. Predeceased by her husband of 52 years Aurel Obonsawin. Loving mother of Robert (Claire), Denis (Dorothy) and Diane Obonsawin. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Daniel, Anya, Ken and Julie, and great-grandchildren Tristan, Lucas, Diego, Miguel, Jackson, and Mila. Predeceased by her grandson Ben. Survived by her brother Maurice Labine (late Jackie). Predeceased by her siblings, Ray (Geraldine), Rita Labine, Rolande Corbeil (late Ernie), Rejeanne Cormier-Grosso, and Jacqueline Doiron.
The family would like to thank the staff at Pioneer Manor (Mallard Wing) for the exceptional care provided for many years. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Cremation services provided by Simple Wishes of the North, Sudbury.
