Dear aunt to several nieces and nephews.

Joan worked as a Bell Telephone Operator for a short time before dedicating her life to her family. She was immensely proud of each of her children. She was ever thoughtful in putting the needs of her loved ones ahead of her own. Joan had a keen sense of humour and leaves behind a rich legacy of love and kindness. She was an active member of the Larchwood Memorial Church. Joan lived in Dowling for many years before moving to Sudbury.

Mom enjoyed many trips to Dad’s beloved Nova Scotia, summers fishing Onaping Lake, and gardening in their backyard under the watchful eye of their much-loved dog Max.

Special thanks to Dr. Paul Gibb and Tim McCue for their many years of care and support. The family would also like to extend their gratitude to the kind and compassionate staff at the Maison McCulloch Hospice.
