OLIVER, Yolanda Melena (nee Frattini) - In loving memory of Yolanda Melena Oliver (nee Frattini), 85 years, who passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at Extendicare York. Born in Copper Cliff, she married Edward in 1946. Yolanda, was a member of the CWL for over 50 years, former president and member of the Club Allegri and was a former employee of Venturi's Grocery Store in Coniston. Family was the most important thing in her life. She was also a caregiver. She enjoyed picking berries, going to the family cottage and loved to cook. Beloved wife of Edward “Eddy“ Oliver (predeceased 2000). Loving mother of Donald Oliver (wife Alice) of Coniston. Cherished grandmother of Carrie- Lynn Oliver of Sudbury, Monique Burke (Wayne) of Chelmsford, Jennifer McMahon (Jason) of Fergus, Jason McMahon of Garson and great grandmother of Kyle Burke, Jordan, Jersey McMahon and Alyxandra Inglis. Predeceased by her parents Emilio and Elisa Frattini, her sisters Flora Dal Bianco (late Paul), Marjorie Mathias (late George), her brothers Orlando (wife Edith), Guido and Nello (wife Reynelda). Dear aunt of several nieces and nephews. Special sister-in-law of Tiziano Oliver (wife Lina) of Coniston, Leo Oliver (wife Lilian), Rena Marinello, Emilia Venturia and Gino all predeceased. Sadly missed by many family members and friends. Resting at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury. Funeral Prayers will be held at the R.J. Barnard Chapel on Monday August 17, 2009 at 11:30 am Cremation at Park Lawn Crematorium. Donations to the Alzheimer's Society, Sudbury Chapter would be appreciated by the family.
