Murray Edward Paul, 71 of Sudbury, ON suddenly passed away on October 29, 2021 at Health Science North.

Murray was born to the late Robert Daniel Paul and Vivian Weston (nee-Boutilier) May 27, 1950 in Halifax, Nova Scotia; and was named after his Uncle Edward Murray Paul (Shuswap, B.C). Survived by sisters, Brenda Anderson (John, Vancouver B.C predeceased), Debbie Dore (Andre, Blind River, ON) and brother Robert Paul (Pam Tracz, Windsor N.S). He will be dearly missed by the Desbiens family and his many nieces and nephews.

Murray was a family man. Being a husband, father and a grandfather filled his life with an unexplainable joy. Murray married the love of his life, Elizabeth (Betsy) Paul (nee – Desbiens) on October 9th, 1971. He was the loving father of Krista Paul (Lisa Louiseize, Calgary, AB), and Sarah Kennedy (Codi, Skead, ON); cherished grandfather of Malleck and Brooklyn Kennedy. Murray loved spending time with his family creating fun and happy memories. Being loved by Murray was an absolute gift and privilege.

In the early 80’s Murray opened his business, Northfast Limited, where he thoroughly enjoyed his work and all the people his business gave him the opportunity to meet.

In his spare time, Murray enjoyed playing golf, traveling, and spending time with his friends and family around a good meal. He will be fondly remembered for his generosity, kind heart, sense of humor and his overall fun-loving spirit. Murray was always the life of the party.

A celebration of life will be held at the Idylwylde Golf & Country Club, 400 Walford Rd., Sudbury on Friday, May 27th, 2022 where friends may gather from 3-7pm. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to Northern Ontario Families of Children with Cancer (NOFCC),
