PAWLUCH, Anna (Pidlesna) - In loving memory of Anna (nee Pidlesna) Pawluch, 84 years, who passed away Monday, July 20th 2009 at the Extendicare-York Sudbury. Anna was born in Kupen, Ukraine. She married Iwan “John“ Pawluch in Germany in 1946, settling in Sudbury in 1949. She was a member of St. Mary's Ukrainian Church and parish CWL. She enjoyed gardening and cooking. An active volunteer for the Ukrainian Senior Citizen's Centre, she often helped at the special events. Anna was devoted to her loving family. Wife of Iwan “John“ Pawluch, predeceased 1991. Loving mother of Mary (husband Harvey Prudhomme) of Sudbury and Henry (wife Natalie) both predeceased. Cherished grandmother of James, Debbie (husband Ray Jack), Robert (wife Laurie), Christopher and great grandchildren Scott, Kyle, Amanda and Taylor. Dear daughter of Paul and Katrina Pidlesna predeceased. Dear sister of Nick, Tomas, Oklana and Zina. Resting at the JACKSON & BARNARD FUNERAL HOME. 233 Larch St., Sudbury. Funeral service in the R. J. Barnard Chapel, Saturday, July 25th, 2009 at 10 am. Interment in the family plot at the Civic Cemetery. Panakhyda 7 pm Friday. Donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
