We sadly announce the peaceful passing of Danlinda Marie Pelletier (née MacDonald). Her strength and grit to persevere through many obstacles throughout the years, allowed her smile to shine on the many people who she encountered and loved. She passed away surrounded by her loving family at Health Sciences North at the age of 65 years on Sunday, March 22, 2020 at 1:20a.m. in Sudbury, ON. Born August 28, 1954 to Samuel MacDonald and Rita MacDonald (Buchanan) both predeceased. Loyally married 43 years to Claude Pelletier(predeceased). Mother to Sam (Samuelle) Pelletier-Pellerin (Richard), Renée Pelletier-Brousseau (Gates) and André Pelletier (Anouck née Filion) She will forever be missed by her 8 loving grandchildren: Jacob, Gage, Noah, Ella, Sophie, Maxx, Téo & Amïa. Sister to Charlene Macdonald (Brian), Dorothy Wyman (Mike) and Shawn MacDonald (Karen). Sister-in-law of late Lise Blouin (Ronal)(Doris LeBlanc), Jude Pelletier (Lucie), Jean-Marc Pelletier(Majda), Pierrette Dubreuil (Jean-Paul), late Denise Jalbert (Fortunat) (Rachel Gour-Jalbert), Céline Dechamplain (Gaston), Gaëtan Pelletier (Beverly), late Colette Kelly (Terry) (Diane Kelly), Yvon Pelletier (Doris), Francine Lafreniere (Tom), Remi Pelletier (Mijou), Louise MacLean (late Bill), Suzanne Baxter (Paul), Ronald Pelletier (Wilma), Ginette Harrison (Late Larry), and Jocelyne Pelletier and many nieces and nephews. Her friendly demeanor, contagious laugh and sociability made her friends wherever she went. She worked for many years at Jubilee Heritage Family Resources where she graced the many children and families that were under her care. Born in Toronto and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, Claude and Danlinda fell in love and were married soon after. She lovingly raised her children and was always willing to help care for her grandchildren. She would lose herself in a book in her downtime and was always willing to hold a conversation with others. She will be remembered for her songs and recognizable laugh and will be greatly missed by all. The family would like to thank Dr. Amy Nistico, Dr. Sean Mahoney, Dr. Tracy Hayes, Dr. Chris Bourdon, Dr. Clyde Hourtovenko, the entire staff of the emergency department, cardiology and CMU floors for their care and compassion. A service will take place at a later date due to the current global medical situation.
