It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Gerry Pharand at home on May 15th, 2023. His untimely loss is undoubtedly a great sadness for his family and loved ones. Gerry’s wife of 47 years, Marion, and his four sons Jamie (Anita), Chad (Susan) - mother Karen, Brad (Ashleigh), and Darryl (Robin) will feel his absence profoundly. Gerry cherished his ten grandchildren: Scott, Tyler, Trevor, Lucas, Kiera, Riley, Kane, Mya, Macy, and Sloan.
Born on October 6, 1940, Gerry was the first child of Alfred and Doralice (predeceased) Pharand. He is survived by his five siblings: Arneld, Gilbert, Anita, Gilberte, and Rolly.
Gerry's impact and legacy extend beyond his immediate family. He fostered close relationships with his in-laws, Heinz and Erika (predeceased), as well as his sisters-in-law Karin (Jerry), Peggy (Donald), Darlene (Pierre) and his many nieces and nephews. Additionally, Gerry developed lifelong friendships and will be remembered fondly for the cherished memories with dear friends Bruce & Pat and Victor & Sharon.
We raise our glasses in loving memory of Gerry, celebrating a life well lived. Cheers to Gerry, forever in our hearts.
