With deep sadness we announce the passing of our dear Mother. Born in the Hague Holland and immigrated to Canada during the War. Mom was always very proud to be a Canadian. She loved her hometown of Sudbury. Determined which she was proud to refer to as stubborn. Well read, a lover of nature and puzzles. Mom had a strong sense of humor and made lots of laughs for those she encountered. She walked everywhere and never wanted to learn to drive. She lived a long life and worked until she was 86 caring for others. Mom leaves behind her children Eric, Dexter, Joyce and Trevor and her grandchildren Mathew, Jessica (Andrew), David (Lisa), Zachary, Theodor, Alexandros (Nicole) and her great grandchildren, Ayden, Alivia and Ramsey. Charleigh, Jack and Dean. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ranger’s Cremation and Burial Services Ltd. Online condolences can be posted at www.RangersSudbury.com You will live forever in our hearts Mom. Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there. I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning’s hush I am the swift uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry. I am not there. I did not die.
