PIGOZZO, Silvana

The family announces with deep sorrow the passing of Silvana Pigozzo (Armellini), January 5th, 2022. Loving wife to the late Bruno Pigozzo. Loving mother to George Pigozzo (Joanne predeceased), Janet Dodds (Brian) and Daniella O’Link (Jerry). Also missed by sister Maria (Mario) Gazzola and brother Carlo Armellini (Diana) from Italy. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Mistelle (Jason), Dan, Don (Josée), Dezi (Karine), Dean predeceased, Kayla (Nick) and Alexander. Loved by her great grandchildren Logan, Lilly, Kenzy, Kali and Nixson. Born in Treviso, Italy, Silvana came to Canada at a tender age of 20 in 1953 to marry her one true love Bruno to start a new life. Her passion was cooking for her family. She always said, “I cook with love”. She also enjoyed gardening and especially being with her family and friends. A private family funeral service with be held in the R.J. Barnard Chapel, Jackson & Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch Street, Sudbury on Saturday, January 8th, 2022 at 1pm.
