PILON, Gracia (née Duval)

1926-2020

The family announces with sorrow her death in Sudbury, Thursday May 7, 2020 at the age of 94 years. Daughter of the late Alphonse Duval and of the late Amanda Duval (née Brazeau).  Loving wife of Jean Pilon. Dear mother of the late Richard (Danielle), Denise Prévost (Guy), Normand (Michelle) and Hubert (Sharon). Gracia will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Daniel, Richard jr, Priscilla, Darcy, Michel, Sylvie, Marc, the late Justin, Eric, Alain, Amanda, Julie and Kurtis as well as by her 12 great grandchildren and her 5 great great grandchildren. Also survived by her sister Laurette Séguin (late Eutrope). Predeceased by her brothers Hervé, Roméo, Jules and by her sisters Irène Servant and Lilas Chartrand.  A funeral mass and celebration of life to be announced at a later date. Cremation services by Simple Wishes of the North, Sudbury.

C’est avec un profond chagrin que la famille annonce son décès survenu à Sudbury, le jeudi 7 mai 2020 a l’âge de 94 ans. Fille de feu Alphonse Duval et de feu Amanda Duval (née Brazeau). Épouse bien-aimée de Jean Pilon. Très chère mère de feu Richard (Danielle), Denise Prévost (Guy), Normand (Michelle) et Hubert (Sharon). Son souvenir restera gravée dans la mémoire de ses petits-enfants Daniel, Richard jr, Priscilla, Darcy, Michel, Sylvie, Marc, feu Justin, Eric, Alain, Amanda, Julie et Kurtis  ainsi que ses  12 arrières petits-enfants et de ses 5 arrières-arrières petits-enfants. Lui survie sa soeur Laurette Séguin ( feu Eutrope). Prédécédée par ses frères Hervé, Roméo, Jules et par ses sœurs Irène Servant et Lilas Chartrand.  Une messe funéraire ainsi qu’une célébration de sa vie airont lieu à une date ultérieure. Les arrangements sont sous la direction de Simple Wishes of the North, Sudbury.
