It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Ivan Pindar at his home surrounded by his family just shy of his 70th birthday. Son of the late Milton and late Jean (née Bailey) Pindar. Loving husband of Linda (née Lane) Pindar of 37 years. Predeceased by his son Jonathan (Lisa Kennedy) in March of 2021. Father to Daelyn, Kaysha, Patricia, Susy McKenzie, Tracy Beaul (Devin), and Cindy Mahoney (Jason). Grandfather to 14 grandchildren. Survived by his 3 sisters. Also survived by his sisters-in law Marie Firlotte, Marilyn King, Vivian (Curtis) Chipman and Evelyn (Ross predeceased) Lane, and his brother-in-law Glen (Valerie) Lane. Ivan held many jobs including miner, cook, transport driver, school bus driver, and he also ran the ice rink at Hillcrest for many years. Ivan loved to visit Camp Quality and give all the children rides in the sidecar of his motorcycle. Other activities he enjoyed were blueberry picking and panning for gold.
