April 17, 1940 – January 27, 2023
Pine – Mildred Eleanor began her journey to the Spirit World on January 27, 2023 at the age of 82, where she will be reunited with her loved ones. Beloved wife of the late Leslie Pine. Loving daughter of the late Rosie and Rev. Douglas Sissenah of Sagamok. Will be greatly missed by her brother Robert Sissenah of Sagamok, her children Janet Solomon (John) of Sagamok, Carl Pine (predeceased), Debbie Jantti of Sudbury, Lana Pine (Brad) of Sagamok, Thomas Pine (predeceased), Charlene Morrison (Dino) of Massey, Shannan Pine-Bennett (predeceased), Kevin Shaganash (Heather) and the Ritchie family of Saugeen.
Will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Jason, Vincent, Tony, Karla, Colin, Cameron, Carl Jr, Cody, Jeff, Eric, Christopher, Dennis, Sasha, Leslie, Marina, Rhea, Clarissa, Ashley, Jordan (predeceased), Jarrett, Coree and Rowan and many great grandchildren as well as her niece Kim Sissenah and nephews Henry and John Sissenah. Will also be missed by many relatives and friends throughout Turtle Island.
A heartfelt thanks to the Espanola Long Term Care Nursing Home for their continued care and support for our mother.
The family would like to say Chi-Miigwetch to Marie Eshkibok-Trudeau for her guidance, knowledge and friendship.
Traditional ceremony will be observed. Visitation starts on Sunday January 29, 2023 at 1 PM in the New Community Centre, Sagamok.
Traditional burial will take place on Tuesday January 31, 2023 at 11 AM in the New Community Centre.
