In Loving Memory of Lorraine Poirier (nee Desjardins) age 73 who passed away peacefully on Wednesday April 9 2025 at Maison McCulloch Hospice with her loving family by her side.
Daughter of Earnest Desjardins and Lillian Desjardins (nee Rhude) both predeceased. Loving Sister of Marcel Desjardins (wife Jackie) Paul Desjardins (wife Debbie) and John Desjardins (predeceased). Predeceased by her soul mate Lyle Lavallee. Survived by her Children James Poirier (wife Natalie) Rick Poirier (wife Lori) Paul Poirier and Pam Poirier (Anthony Vocaturo). Cherished Gramma to Paige Poirier (Gabe) and Lexxie Vocaturo. Will be deeply missed by Curtis, Carigan (Noah), Parker, Kirsten (David), Caitlin (Justin), Sophie and Kingston. Also missed by her nieces and nephews. Very dear friend to Angela Vaillancourt and Bruce Graham.
Lorraine loved her family. Our family car rides won’t be the same without her. She took joy in playing Bingo, planting flowers, and very much enjoyed sitting outside in her gazebo. She was an amazing cook, had a song for everything and was always a phone call away. Her infectious laugh will be forever missed.
Per Lorraine's wishes, there will be no service or visitation. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Maison McCulloch Hospice would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Homes.
