POLLESEL, Shirley M. (Nee Suckow) - Peacefully at home, Sunday evening, January 24, 2010 after a lengthy vascular complication. Dear daughter of Basil and Aileen (née Harju) Suckow, both predeceased. Beloved wife of 59 years of Gino Pollesel. Loving mother of Janice Atkinson (husband Dean), Robert (wife Claire) and Brenda. Cherished Nona to Lindsay, Robbie, Carter and Wade. Dear sister of Betty Burke (Bill). Predeceased by a sister Ruth. Shirley was a member of Our Lady of Hope Church and a Catholic Women's League member. Resting at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME 222 Lasalle Blvd. (at Notre Dame) Sudbury. At the family's request there will be no visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday morning January 28, 2010 in Our Lady of Hope Church, 591 Brennen Street, Sudbury at 10:00. Friends may gather at the church after 9:45 a.m. Entombment in the Lasalle Cemetery, Sudbury. If you so desire, memorial remembrances to the Fatima Centre or the War Amps Champs Program (by cheque only) will be greatly appreciated.
