POTVIN, Carmen Jeanette (nee Larocque) - In loving memory of Carmen Jeanette Potvin (nee Larocque), 62 years, of McKerrow, who passed away Saturday, August 29th, 2009 at the Espanola General Hospital. Born in Sudbury, she married Rheal Potvin in Creighton in 1969. She has lived in McKerrow the past 35 years. Carmen was devoted to her loving family. She was looking forward to celebrating her 40th wedding anniversary to the love of her life and soulmate Rheal next month. She loved children and drove a school bus for 22 years. Carmen enjoyed many winters in Florida and Texas. She was an avid bowler for 10 years. Carmen loved life. She was happiest in the company of her family especially her precious grandchildren. She always put everyone else's needs before her own. The light of her life will continue to inspire & influence all she knew. Beloved wife of Rheal Potvin. Loving mother of Blair and Cheryl (husband Joshua Turcotte). Cherished grandmother of Ty, Caleb and grandchild to come Katherine. Dear daughter of Marie-Ange Dutrisac-Larocque and predeceased by Leonard Larocque. Dear sister of Gerald predeceased, Madeleine (husband Marcel Charron), Dan Larocque (wife Ann), Rachelle (husband Jim Shaver) and Leonard Larocque. dear daughter-in-law of Lorenzo Potvin (wife Elise predeceased). Dear sister-in-law of Gerry Potvin (wife Linda), Lina (husband Jean- Claudé Huppé) and Jack Potvin (wife Marilyn). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Funeral Prayers in the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St., Wednesday, September 2nd, 2009 at 11:30 a.m. Cremation at the Parklawn Crematorium.
