C’est avec tristesse que la famille annonce son décès le 20 mars 2023 à l’âge de 88 ans. Époux de feue Pauline (née Chenier). Fils de feu Jacob et de feue Eva (née Charbonneau) Proulx. Ami spécial d’Irène. Père dévoué de Denis (Nicole), Alain (Karrie), Denise (feu Richard), Carole (Steve) et Louise. Prédécédé par son fils Richard (Cécile). Il fut prédécédé par ses frères et soeurs Roland (feue Thérèse), Raymond (feue Iris), Gérald (feue Marie), Jean-Marcel et Diane (Roland). Grand-père chéri de Mélanie, Danielle, Alain, Julie, Josée, Scott, Nathalie et Isabelle. Il fut prédécédé par sa petite-fille Lynn. Arrière-grand-père de Makayla, Evan, Nathan, Noah, Mia et arrière-arrière-grand-père d’Esmée. Il sera également regretté par tous ses neveux, nièces, parents et amis. Un grand merci à tous les médecins et infirmières d’Horizon Santé-Nord pour leurs soins et leur compassion envers Philippe. Il a servi pendant plus de 30 ans comme pompier et était très fier de sa profession. La famille recevra parents et amis à la Cooperative funéraire, 4570, rue St-Joseph, Hanmer le vendredi 24 mars 2023 de 10 h à 12 h et de 13 h à 16 h. Un service suivra à 16 h. Son of the late Jacob and late Eva (née Charbonneau) Proulx. Special friend of Irene. Devoted father of Denis (Nicole), Alain (Karrie), Denise (late Richard), Carole (Steve), Louise. Predeceased by his son Richard (Cécile). Predeceased by his siblings Roland (late Thérèse), Raymond (late Iris), Gérald (late Marie), Jean-Marcel, and Diane (Roland). Cherished grandfather of Mélanie, Danielle, Alain, Julie, Josée, Scott, Nathalie and Isabelle. Predeceased by his granddaughter Lynn. Great-grandfather of Makayla, Evan, Nathan, Noah, Mia and great-great-grandfather of Esmée. Equally missed by all his nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A gracious thank you to all the doctors and nurses at Health Sciences North for their care and compassion towards Philippe. He spent a major part of his working career as a proud Firefighter for well over 30 years.
