RANCOURT, Alexandre - Peacefully passed away with his loving family by his side in Sudbury on Sunday, August 2, 2009 at the age of 81 years. Son of the late Délias and the late Blanche (née Dupuis) Rancourt. Beloved husband of Jacqueline (née Ayotte) Rancourt of Hanmer. Loving father of Lynn Leroux, Louise Romain (Raymond), Julie Robinait (Richard) all of Val Caron, Guy Rancourt (Bernadine Thorpe) of Larder Lake, Anne Montpellier (Gabriel) of Hanmer, Daniel Rancourt of Hawksbury and Sylvie Rancourt of Ottawa. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Josée, Kimberly, Jocelyn, Chantal, Lee-Ann, Alexie, Amy and Tina. Cherished friend Gérard Leroux. Dear brother of Gilbert Rancourt (Thérèse) of Amos, Qc., Mose Rancourt (Agnès) of New Liskeard, Henriette Bennett (late Harold) of Renfrew, Annette Laforge (late Jean-Marie) of Ottawa and Estelle Potvin-Carignan (Henri Carignan) of Rockland. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters Henri Rancourt (Léonie of Espanola), Léo Rancourt, Juliette Lacasse (late Fernand), Laurette Rancourt, Adelard Rancourt (late Claire) and Jean- Paul Rancourt (late Rose). A special thank you to the staff on 4th floor at Laurentian Hospital especially Kelly for their care and compassion. The family will receive relatives and friends at Ste-Marguerite d'Youville Church in Val Thérèse, Friday, August 7, 2009 after 10:30 a.m. Funeral mass will follow at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
