Marjorie “Marge” Dodge Raymond, 95 yrs old, of Sudbury, Ontario, passed away January 24, 2022 at the Toronto Grace Health Center in Etobicoke, Ontario.
Marge was born June 16, 1926, to Harry and Nina Dodge in Berwick, Nova Scotia. She met and married Alvin Joseph Raymond on January 18, 1944 in Kentville, Kings County, Nova Scotia. Marge is remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.
She was raised on a farm in Berwick, Nova Scotia and moved to Sudbury, Ontario with husband Alvin where they bought a home and lived for 60 years raising their three children. Upon the passing of Alvin, Marge moved to Mississauga, Ontario in 2008 to live with daughter Linda Raymond Wells and her husband Gerry. Marge is preceded in death by her both parents Harry and Nina Dodge, husband Alvin Raymond, sister Mary Dodge Leonard, son-in-law William C. Fisher, IV. She is survived by her CHILDREN: Ronald Raymond and wife Marie, Linda Raymond Wells and husband Gerry, and Judy Raymond Fisher. GRANDCHILDREN: Bradley Raymond and wife Connie, Troy Raymond and wife Julie, and Kent Raymond and wife Erin, Chantal Emir and husband Fernando, William C. Fisher V and wife Carrie. GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Steven Raymond and wife Grace, Jordan Raymond and partner Shannon, Cody Raymond, Bailey Raymond, Alanna Raymond, Colton Raymond, Tucker Raymond and Sara Emir.
GREAT-GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Jasmine Raymond, Zyliegh Raymond and Desiree Raymond.
NEPHEWS: Glendon Zwicker and wife Terrie, and Mark Leonard. Friends and family of Marjorie Raymond are invited to attend a celebration of her life on Saturday, July 9th, 2022, from 2 pm to 4 pm at the Jackson & Bernard funeral home, 233 Larch Street in Sudbury. Words of remembrance at 3 pm. Marjorie will be missed by her many friends and extended family.
