Reina Raymond passed away peacefully at Extendicare in Oshawa on February 23, 2023, at the age of 92 years.
Daughter of the late Godfroid and the late Hermine (nee Blais) Rheaume. Predeceased by her husband George Raymond. Predeceased by her siblings Loretta (late Len) Bedard, Gaitanne Laurin, Giselle (late Clement) Rodrigue, Yolande Rheaume, Oscar (Darlene) Rheaume and Pat (late Helen) Rheaume. Survived by her sister Therese Rheaume. Loving mother to the late Jean-Guy Raymond of Calgary, Lorraine (late Bob) Lauzon of Chelmsford and Diane (John) Katsikis of Bowmanville.
Proud grandmother of nine grandchildren Monique Raymond, John-Paul (Laura) Raymond, Tina Raymond, Barbara (Mark) Plettell, Rene (Andrea) Lauzon, Ginette (Jamie) Rideout, Nick (Alexis) Katsikis, Daniel (Carrie) Katsikis and Stacy (Perry) Diamond. She will be missed by her sister, family members, friends and great grandchildren. Reina was known for her generosity and friendliness. Reina loved to feed her family and friends with a good home cooked meal. She enjoyed going out for lunch and watching a movie. Her sense of humor was second to none and she loved to laugh.
