In loving memory of Joanne Pierrette Richer (née St. Martin) of Sudbury, who after a long, hard fight, passed away in Sudbury, Saturday May 20th 2023, at the age of 57 years.
Daughter of Pauline St. Martin, Ray Levesque (predeceased), and stepfather Aurel Strong (predeceased). She is survived by husband Rick Hack. She was the beloved niece of Pierrette Morin and Sharion Marshall.
Cherished mother of Rachel Richer (Melissa Hunda-Richer), Christina Houle (Craig Houle), Christopher Richer (Caitland Gauthier), and Chad Haley. Loving nana to Ashton Richer, Avery Houle, Rowan Richer, Austin Thompson and Braedan, Rory, and Izzy Hunda.
Beloved sister of Tamara Rousseau, Peter Strong, Carole Strong, Ronald Strong, Denis Lafontaine, Debbie Levesque-Bowerman, and Rick Levesque. Loving aunt to Elizabeth, Jameson, Noah, Ethan, Shawn, Mel, Summer, Savannah Jo, Austin, and Micheal.
She will be greatly missed by best friends Wayne “Butch” Haley, Betty-Ann Tremblay-Serre, Robin Larose and Roxanne Lefrancois. She leaves behind many other friends and extended family members.
Joanne was a fun-loving, strong-willed, fiercely independent, firecracker of a woman who lived her life her way and wanted everyone she loved to do the same. She was always there to hear you out in her beautiful non-judgemental way, constantly encouraging you to be yourself and to do what felt right. Hard-working and driven, she touched so many lives along the way, making friends everywhere she went. She had an amazing sense of humour and always found a way to get everyone laughing and enjoying life. She loved unconditionally, and if you were part of her pack, you knew it.
