With great sorrow, regret and disbelief we announce the passing of Timothy “Tim” Ross Robson who passed away at his Residence on Sunday, January 15, 2023 with his loving family at his side. He succumbed to a 12 year battle with Primary Progressive MS after fighting hard and exceeding all doctors expectations.

Beloved husband of Christel Brandle. Cherished father of Dakota Brandle-Robson. Dear son of John Ross Robson and Marilyn Joyce McClellan (both predeceased). Treasured brother of Danny Robson (Carol predeceased) (Jan predeceased), Kenny Robson (Clare predeceased), Judy (Larry Lariviere), Sandy (Paddy Gorman), Susan (Maurice Lapalme) and Dave Robson. Will be missed by goddaughter Melinda Lapalme. Tim will be missed by his mother in-law Laurene Wiens. His fondest memory is fishing with his best friend Dave Niwranski on Crooked Lake. The extreme close bond he shared with Robin Gasparini who has been a source of comfort and security for Tim in their 40 years of friendship. Will be missed by his faithful companion Magnum. Will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Tim dedicated 36 years of proud and loyal service to Vale. He started off as a plant protection officer and worked his way through the ranks to a supervisory position. Tim was the president of the Stobie Mine Employees Association for over 15 years. He was the founder of the Miners for Cancer program. Tim was a devoted, loving and caring man who always put his family first.

The family would like to thank the Health Care team of Bayshore, CCAC, Home and Community Care and Palliative Care. We appreciated their time, service, care and compassion.
