ROSE, Stella (nee Konkol) - In loving memory of Stella Rose (nee Konkol), 86 years, who passed away on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital. Beloved wife of Bob Rose of Capreol. Loving mother of Suzanne (Leo Devost), Diane Blain (predeceased), JoAnn (Fred Karst), John Blain (Sharon) and Charlene (Bruce Harvey). Cherished Granny of Maurine, Charmaine, Colin (predeceased), Heather, Tracy, Tammy, Mathew, April- Marie, Marnie-Lynn, David, Stephanie, and 21 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren. Dear sister of Nellie Bilious. Predeceased by her parents Martin & Annie Konkol and her brothers and sisters. Will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Stella was an active member of First Baptist Church in Capreol. She also belonged to the Royal Canadian Legion in Capreol where she was devoted to helping and earned one of their highest merit awards. She enjoyed crafts especially knitting, crocheting and quilting. Resting at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, Hanmer/Capreol Chapel, 4605 Michelle Dr., (at hwy 69N), Hanmer. Funeral service will be held in the chapel Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 11 am. Cremation at Park Lawn Crematorium. Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
