In loving memory of Robert “Bob” Rusten, 73 years old, Tuesday May 10, 2022.
Beloved husband of Monique Rusten of Hanmer. Loving son of Marion Spaulding and Louis Fondow (pre-deceased). Brother of Larry Fondow, Barbara Newsome and Marlene Westphal (all pre-deceased). Survived by Judy Jensen and Dale Spaulding (Jackie) all from the U.S.
Bob was the beloved father of Kelly (Denny), Missy (Pat) and Barbara “Barbie” (pre-deceased).
Loving stepfather of Rolly (Marie), Robert (Tina), Crystale (Sunny) and Normy (Sasha). Loved by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He will be missed by many friends and former co-workers.
Bob was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota and spent many years living and working in the U.S. He moved to Canada in 1994 and was employed with CLN Industries, NRE in Capreol and Diesel Electric in Sudbury before his semi-retirement. Bob was a “train guy” and loved everything to do with the railroad. He will be sadly missed.
Arrangements with Parklawn Crematorium. A celebration of life for family and friends will be held at a later date.
