In loving memory of Lorraine Sahadat (nee Nault) who passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones. Cherished wife of Dr. John Sahadat. Loving sister of Alex of Montreal (Jeanne, both predeceased), Laurent, predeceased, Maurice, predeceased, (Rollande), Armand of Phoenix, Arizona, (Barbara both predeceased), Florence Nault­ Boivin of Victoriaville (Lloyd both predeceased, Ernest (Claudette), Cecile Bonin (Raymond), Jeannette Joly (Roma, predeceased), Madeleine Shymanski of Ottawa (Leon both predeceased), Germaine Brule (Marcel, predeceased), Gilberte Nault-Bouillon of Victoriaville, predeceased (Bob), and Micheline Nault-Demers of Gatineau (Yvain). Precious Aunt to many wonderful nieces and nephews. She worked for 35 years collectively for the Catholic Board of Education, the North York Board of Education, and the Rainbow Board of Education, as teacher, assistant to the principal, vice-principal of Gatchell Public School, and special education consultant for the Rainbow Board of Education in the French Immersion programs. Lorraine inspired, ignited the imagination, and instilled the love of learning in her students. Lorraine was very devoted to her family and friends. Her gentle nature and positive attitude left a lasting impression on all who knew her. She was a devout Catholic and her faith was immeasurable and kept her strong through difficult times. May the blessings of a good life lived follow her into heaven.

A memorial mass will be held at St. Patrick's Church, 39 Walford Road, Sudbury on Friday, September 24th, 2021 at 11am. Friends may gather at the church after 10:30am Friday. Cremation and burial will take place at the Park Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorial masses or donations to Christ the King Prayer Group or a Church of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
