SALMENMAKI, Jussi (John) Edvard - In loving memory of Jussi (John) Edvard Salmenmaki, 74 years, who passed away on September 9, 2009 at SRH - St. Joseph's site. Beloved husband of Irene Salmenmaki (nee Tiitto) for 39 years. Loving father of Erik and Paul (wife Kate) of Sudbury. Dear son of the late Henrik and Salli Salmenmaki of Finland. Dearest brother of Maria Akerman, Elli Ajanaho and Teemu Salmenmaki, all of Finland. Beloved uncle of Anne Makela, Sari Tholix, and Sami Ajanaho and their families in Finland. Jussi was born in Alavus, Finland on June 15, 1935 and moved to Sudbury in 1960. Jussi was a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters & Joiners Local 2486 since 1961. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St., Sudbury. Friends are invited to Lougheeds after 10:30 am on Monday September 14, with funeral at 11:30 am. Cremation.
