Salminen, Elmer

It is with sorrow that the family announces his death at St Joseph’s Villa, Sudbury at the age of 85 years. Predeceased by his parents Paul and Mary Salminen (née Luoto). Survived by his loving wife Rita Salminen (née Parks). Father of Leslie Salminen (Yvonne) “Vanca” of Sudbury and Neil of Arnprior. He will be missed by his grandchildren Marja and Aili. Brother of Myra Boudens (late Bill) of Pembroke. Elmer loved the great outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hunting and trapping. He was a very kind, loving man who always put his family first. In lieu of flowers donations to the Maison McCulloch Hospice would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements in care of Simple Wishes of the North Sudbury.
