It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of Robert Sartori, peacefully on Monday May 3, 2021 at the age of 60. Robert was born and raised in Sudbury, Ontario and is predeceased by his loving parents John “Giovanni” (2012) and Rose (2018) Sartori. He is survived by his devoted sister Jane Sartori (Roy Waldron). Like many who have been presented with health challenges in their lives, Robert persevered and became a beautiful soul who loved family, music, animals and bad jokes. He enjoyed time with family and friends, sharing stories, songs, laughs and good food. A get together would not be complete without him entertaining everyone and singing his favourite songs. He had a deep love and respect for animals, whether it be the wildlife and birds in the backyard or the nature programs he loved to watch. Robert always had a smile and kind words for everyone. He will be greatly missed. Special thanks to our extended family the Rossi/Lapierre family for their unending love and support over the years. Robert always enjoyed our epic times together. We will cherish those memories and continue to make more with his blessing and love. We would also like to express our deep gratitude to Edith for her endless caring, compassion and friendship. You have been a bright light in our lives over these many years.
Prayers were offered for Robert with immediate family only. A Memorial Service in celebration of Robert’s life will be held later in the year when everyone can gather safely.
