SCOTT, Sandra Jane (nee Smith) - was granted her angel wings on Sunday, August 29th, 2010 at the age of 56. Her final days were spent in her home surrounded by family and friends that Sandra had unforgettably touched throughout her seemingly short, yet very memorable life. Her gentle smile, giving spirit and compassionate heart brought so much joy to our family. She gave us all such courage and hope as we walked this journey with her. Sandra reminded us all of the preciousness of life, love and family. Sandra will be forever loved and remembered by her husband and best friend Kenneth Scott and their precious children, Kelly Jean Scott (Nathan Savage) all of Sudbury and James Scott (wife Rebecca) of Stony Plain. Cherished grandmother of Ethan and Jeremy, who were the joy of her life. Dear daughter of Peter (Pete, pre-deceased) and Yvette Aline (Memere, nee Delongschamp) Smith, both of Sudbury. Special sister in law to John, Mary, Bill, Don and Kevin Scott. Sandra will be deeply missed by her extended family whom she lovingly called her siblings, Claire Goulard-Rainville of Val Caron, Susan Plante, Barry, Don and Brian Gagnon all of Sudbury. Sandra""s home was filled with her love of animals, especially her protector and guardian Kody. Loved by her aunt Anita Gagnon (nee Coutu, pre- deceased) and special uncles Be Coutu (pre-deceased) and Romeo Huard of Sudbury. Remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins and lifelong friends. Sandra will also be missed by her close friends and co-workers at Pioneer Manor. At Sandra""s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. A celebration of Sandra""s life will be held on a special date for family and friends. If desired, memorial donations in memory of Sandra may be made to the Liver Foundation as expression of sympathy. A deep heartfelt thank you to all who have supported Sandra throughout her journey. Sandra devoted much of her time and energy as a caregiver to family members, including her mother who resides at Pioneer Manor. Blessed with the gift of showing that you truly mattered, she always put the needs of others before her own. Sandra was in our lives and left a lasting mark on all of our hearts, one that we will never forget. Forever our shining angel. The Magic of our Mother""s Touch There""s magic in our Mother""s touch, and sunshine in her smile. There""s love in everything she does to make our lives worthwhile. We can find both hope and courage Just by looking in her eyes. Her laughter is a source of joy, her works are warm and wise. There is a kindness and compassion to be found in her embrace, and we see the light of heaven shining from our Mother""s face.
