In loving memory of Irene Margaret Servant (nee Lahaie) who passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2020 at Extendicare York, Sudbury at the age of 94 years. Born in Sudbury, December 21, 1925 to the late Martin and late Priscilla (nee Pilon) Lahaie. Beloved wife of Raoul Servant. Loving mother of Raymond of Val Caron and Paul (Marlene) of Azilda and Jean at home. Cherished grandmother of Monique Servant, Denis Servant, Mark Corbeil and great-grandmother of Ryan Claxton. Predeceased by her siblings Leo (Pete) Lahaie (Jeannette), Claire Guay (late Gaston), Gerald Barney Lahaie (Rollande) and Jean Lahaie. Sadly missed by many brothers and sisters-in-law along with many nieces, nephews and their families. The family expresses their appreciation to the Extendicare York staff for their excellent care and support, especially during the time of crisis during the pandemic. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, Sunday, September 6, 2020 from 1 to 4 p.m. followed by a chapel service at 4 p.m. Due to the current pandemic, restrictions on the amount of people gathering will be managed and enforced. Face masks are mandatory. Interment at the family plot at the Civic Memorial Cemetery, Sudbury.
