A beautiful life that came to an end. He died as he lived, everyone’s friend. In our hearts a memory will always be kept, of one we loved and will never forget.

In loving memory of Paul Roland Servant 72 years, who passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, November 16th, 2024, after a battle with cancer.

Survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Marlene (nee Brown). Proud and loving father of his daughter Monique and son Denis. Loving P’Pere to Ryan Claxton. He will be sadly missed by his fur-baby Nikita.

Son of Raoul and Irene Servant (nee Lahaie) both predeceased. Survived by his brothers Raymond and Johnny. Son-in-law of Mervin and Catherine Brown (nee Bilton) both predeceased. Brother-in-law of Dale Brown predeceased (Eleanor), Harold, Brian predeceased (Nancy), David Brown (Lise), Mindy Savard (Aaron), and Deb Hamilton (Dave). Loving uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Paul was born on December 15th, 1951, in Sudbury and moved to Azilda in 1978 after getting married in 1977. He enjoyed his property there, spending many springs and summers landscaping and improving the house with renovations. Paul had a great sense of humour and loved to make people laugh. As a member of the Sudbury Classic Cruisers, he found his adopted brothers and sisters. He enjoyed every car show and cruise immensely, plus working on his 73 Cougar XR7 was one of his favourite activities.

As per Paul’s wishes there will be no visitation or service.  A celebration of his life will be held at a later date, where we can share laughs and exchange stories about our wonderful husband, dad, grandfather, brother, and his many friends who he considered family. Thank you to his wonderful friends who visited him so often, helping him to pass the time with love and laughter. Many thanks to the nurses from Bayshore and the support from Courtney in Ontario Health at Home for their care.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Northern Cancer Foundation Cancer Centre or a charity of your choice (cheques only) would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Sudbury Park Lawn Cremation Service. For donations or messages of condolence www.lougheedfuneralhomes.com.
