SIMARD, Albert

It is with great sadness that the family announces his passing in Sudbury, Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at the age of 95 years. Son of the late Adélard and late Herminosa (née St-Jean) Simard. Beloved husband of the late Yvonne (née Brosseau) Simard. Loving father of Ronald (Madeleine), Suzanne Bradley (André), Denis (Carmen), Rachelle Larcher (Jean-Paul) and late Gilles (late Denise). Predeceased by his siblings Cécile Labre (late Lucien), Edna Lalonde (late Edmond), Alice Poulin (late Albert), Lucienne Methé (late Ovide), Thérèse Dutrisac (late Constant) and Arthur (Gilberte). Cherished grandfather of Éric, Alain, Julie, André, Mélanie, Sylvain, Jasmine, Ginette and great-grandfather of 16. He will be sadly missed but never forgotten by his family, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Last October, Albert and Yvonne celebrated their 74th wedding anniversary. They were the definition of true love. He was passionate about camping with his wife Yvonne and family. Albert was a very proud and hardworking man.
