It is with great sadness, the family regretfully announces the passing of Connie Sottile, who passed away on January 17, 2022, at the age of  93 at Pioneer Manor.

Daughter of Salvatore and Rosa Sottile both deceased. Sister of Josie Archibald Deceased; Mary Ross Lac Labiche, Alberta; Eleanor Beaton deceased, Carmel McDonald, Abbotsford B.C.; and Ann Borsato, Capreol On; Brother Phil Sottile, Niagara Falls; Frank Sottile, Vineland and Tony Sottile, Sudbury. Aunt to many Nieces and Nephews, in particular Pauline Beaton who was her Caregiver and was very kind and thoughtful towards Connie while she was recuperating at Pioneer Manor. After being employed by Parent plumbing for many years she stayed at home looking after our parents.

Connie cherished family gatherings and was there to assist our parents on special occasions held for the family.

Connie was an active member of St. Paul’s Church in Coniston and always volunteered to work at their biennial yard sale supporting the church where she was a lifetime member. In Connie’s younger days She enjoyed playing Tennis, was an avid skier-cross country and downhill; sang to her hearts content in church, shopping in Toronto and of course baking that special white cake and her special spaghetti sauce that we all enjoyed

The family thanks all the staff at Pioneer Manor for the excellent care they provided to Connie for many years. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations to Inner City Home and the Blue Door Café would be appreciated.
