SPENCER, Cecil E - 77, of Spencer Memorial Home, Moncton, NB and formerly of Emerson, passed away peacefully at his residence on Tuesday January 11, 2011. Born in Emerson, NB, he was the son of the late Irving and Maude (Thompson) Spencer. Cecil was a former miner and woodsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodcarving and socializing with his friends and family. Cecil is survived by his stepson, Terry Mitchell (Carolyn), Edmonton, AB; sisters, Loretta Ralston, Rita Lynds (Elmer), Noreen Lynds, Treva Burlock; brothers, Kenneth (Ann), Tommy, Vincent (Carolyn), Everett; three granddaughters; great grandson, Alex and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter, Lorraine Short (2010); sisters, Dorothy, Blanche Beck and Vera MacKinnon; brothers, Irving Jr., Herbert, Ronald, Alfred and Byron. No visitation or funeral service at this time. Graveside committal service to be held at a later date. Interment, Bryants Corner Cemetery.
