ST DENIS, Jean Paul - It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Jean Paul at Telfer Place Long Term Care, Paris, on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 in his 90th year. He is peacefully gone to be with his wife Alice (1995). Loving father of Giselle Labbe and her husband Robert. Sadly missed by his sisters Mary Rose Boulais, Therese Beaudry, and Agnes Sabourin. Lovingly remembered by daughter-in-law Patricia Schmidt. Sadly missed by 8 grandchilren and 10 great- grandchildren. Jean Paul leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Predeceased by his children Norman, Roger, Aline, and Leo-Paul, great-grandson Matthew, and a number of siblings. Jean Paul was a member of St. Michael R.C Church for 30 years. He was a handyman and enjoyed building things with sticks and clothespins. He loved to do crafts. He was the superintendent on Silverbirch road for 28 years, and worked as a janitor for the Waterloo School Board for 15 years. Relatives and friends are invited to SCHREITER-SANDROCK FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL (51 Benton St. at Church St., Kitchener, 519-742-4481) on Friday, July 23, 2010 from 2-4 p.m. with a funeral service to follow in the funeral home chapel at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Lung Association, or the Alzheimer Society of Brant County and would be appreciated by the family.
