STUKAYLO, Mabel - With reverent sorrow the Stukaylo family announces the loss of their mother, grandmother, great grandmother and dearest friend - Mabel Stukaylo, on September 18, 2009 at the age of 72. Born in Grandview in the district of Petlura Manitoba, on May 11,1937, to George and Victoria (Ozarow) Saley (predeceased). Mabel is survived by her two sisters Sophie Fehr (Henry) of Smithers B.C., and Anne Mole of Dauphin Manitoba along with many nieces and nephews. She married Walter Stukaylo (predeceased) in Manitoba. In 1956 she moved to Sudbury where she became a friend to many. She was a gentle soul, confidante and trusted adviser to all who came to know her. She is survived by her three children; Wally (Marilyn), Adeline Orr (Donald), Anne-Marie Prince (Michael), along with her granddaughter Jennifer and grandsons Jake and Patrick, all of Sudbury. She will be forever remembered and greatly missed by all including her great grandchildren; Sheldon, Dawson and Haven. In death as in life, Mabel's final wishes were pure and uncomplicated. At her request, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation with interment at her husband's side will follow. “When a friend becomes a memory, that memory must forever be treasured“.
