Catherine Elizabeth Talevi (Lapierre)
August 25th, 1934 - July 3rd, 2020
The family announces with great sorrow the passing of Catherine Elizabeth Talevi (Lapierre) in Sudbury on July 3, 2020 at the age of 85. Predeceased by her beloved husband Lawrence Talevi. An amazing mother, Catherine will be sadly missed by her daughters CarolAnne Campeau (JP), Sandra Mallory (Tim Lynham), Lisa Moggy (Stewart), Mary Jo Sprague (Kevin), & Jennifer Talevi (Derrick Filoon). Catherine was a loving Granny to Matthew Mallory (Sarah), Kyle Sprague (Shani Doire), Gabriella & Thomas Moggy, & Curtis Sprague (predeceased).Great Granny to Jack & Sam Mallory. She will be sadly missed by her sisters Anne Racine (Sudbury) & Marie Langworth (Ottawa) (John) predeceased, Margaret Lewis predeceased, Lornie Lapierre predeceased (Shirley), Allan Lapierre (Lillian) predeceased and many nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to Dr. Jani and the Cancer Care team for all your care. The family also wishes to thank all the wonderful staff on the 4th and 8th floors, the doctors, nurses, PSW’s whom took care of their mother while in the hospital.
A Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of Hope church 591 Brennan Ave., Sudbury on Wednesday, July 8th, 2020 at 11am. Due to the COVID-19, a maximum of 100 people will be allowed in the church and masks are mandatory. The graveside service will be private. Interment in the family plot at the St Stanislaus Cemetery. If desired, donations to the NEO KIDS Sudbury would be greatly appreciated.
