(Dec 9, 1951 – July 4, 2021)

Following a short battle with cancer, Stuart drove his final train home to his maker, passing peacefully at the Maison McCulloch Hospice on July 4, 2021.

Born in Cheshire, England, to James (predeceased) and Louisa Taylor, he immigrated to Canada with his family in September 1952. Beloved son and best friend to his mom, Louisa, he is also survived by his sister Cynthia Weisbrod (Ken) of Burlington, and brother, Martyn Taylor (Carol) of Brantford. He will be missed by his loving niece Jennifer and husband Greg Belland of Sudbury. Stuart also leaves behind several cousins in the UK and many dear nieces and nephews in Canada. His good friend Jean of 51 years will miss their daily chats reminiscing about the good old days at Dominion Glass Works in Hamilton, the movies, and the camping trips they enjoyed together.

Stuart had a passion for collecting unique items, but mostly enjoyed customizing model train collections where he enjoyed creating villages, streams and tracks to places travelled. An avid reader, movie buff, and listener of "Big Band" and fifties era music, his interests focused on academic details of world conflicts and British history.

At Stuart’s request there will be no service, and arrangements have been entrusted to Park Lawn Sudbury Cremation Services. Any memorial donations are appreciated and may be made to the Maison McCulloch Hospice or the Canadian Cancer Society.

Until we meet again on the train tracks in heaven, peace and love!
