THAIN, Raeburn Glenn “Ray“ - In loving memory of Raeburn Glenn “Ray“ Thain, 82 years, of Sudbury, who passed away Monday, July 13th, 2009 at his residence. He was born in Rawdon Township. Raeburn had been a stationary engineer at INCO retiring in 1984 with 33 years of service. He was a member of the INCO 1/4 Century Club. A proud Canadian, he had been an associate member of the Royal Canadian Legion Stirling Branch. He enjoyed music, having been a former Barber Shop Singer. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Salvation Army would be appreciated. Beloved husband of Ruth (Barlow) Thain of Sudbury. Loving father of David of Toronto, Carolyn (Phil Belanger) of Sudbury and Janet of Peterborough. Dear son of Ivah Philp and Fred Thain both predeceased. Loving brother of Helen Rodgers of Toronto and Garnet Thain (Doris) of Belleville. At Raeburn's request there will be no visitation or service. Cremation.
