Tiedemann, Richard

June 1, 2010 51

TIEDEMANN, Richard Erhard Carl - October 18, 1959 - May 27, 2010 - It is with great sadness that we share the news that “Ricky T“ Tiedemann has left our world to join the “Angels Division“ of heaven's hockey league. He will be so greatly missed by his best friend and wife of 22 years, Angie, his two wonderful children Chloe and Sam and his big baby Molson. He will be also missed by his big brother Tom “look way up“ (Tammy), brother-in-law's Brian and Paul (Sheila), his parents Irma and Erhard - predeceased, his nieces and nephews; Michael (Jesslin), Kayla, Jordan, Paul, Jessica and Stephanie and the old timer's hockey league, Waterloo Minor Hockey and so many friends. Rick will always be known for his boundless energy for life. He packed in as much hockey playing, refereeing, mountain biking and any other sport that required being in motion. He loved his family deeply, thoroughly cherished his many friendships, valued the meaning of community involvement and actively supported the LCBO franchise. In Ricky's memory, he would ask each of you to spend more time enjoying your life. Put down the remote control (unless you are watching hockey or car shows), find things you are passionate about and explore the possibilities. Challenge yourself to do more, be more and give more to the development of children through volunteering and always look for the good in others. Rick's family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 and 7-9pm on Friday, June 4, 2010 and from 10-10:45am Saturday, June 5, 2010 at the HENRY WALSER FUNERAL HOME, (507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467). A memorial service will be held at 11am on Saturday June 5, 2010 in the chapel of the funeral home. Reception to follow. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Kitchener Minor Hockey Sponsored Children may be made in memory of Rick (cards available at the funeral home. A special 'thank-you' to Dr.s Needham-Nethercott and Plaxton and the nursing staff at Grand River Hospital. Visit www.henrywalser.com for Rick's memorial.
