It is with great sorrow that the family announced the passing of Guy Tye on Thursday, August 27th, 2020 surrounded by his family and friends, at the age of 55 years. Survived by his beautiful wife Darlene Leduc-Tye, his son Alex and step daughter JoseĢe Leduc (predeceased). Dear son of Paul Laprairie and Murielle Tye (nee Groulx) both predeceased. Dear brother of Paul Laprairie, Jackie (Lloyd) Gotro, Marlene (Bill) Cochrane, Norman Laprairie, Mitch (Marion), Daniel (Melody) and Kathy (Richard). Dear son in law of Jacques and Gemma Leduc. Brother-in-law of Linda Crawford Gord (predeceased) and Luc and Natasha Leduc.
Sadly missed by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at the Lougheed Funeral Home, 4605 Michelle Dr., Hanmer on September 19th, 2020 from 3pm to 6pm. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Donations to the Maison McCulloch Hospice would be appreciated. Due to the COVID-19 directives, 50 people or less in the visitation room. Facemasks are mandatory.
