VACHON, Thérèse (née Fortin) - Est décédée à Sudbury le mercredi 12 janvier 2011 à l'âge de 81 ans. Fille de feu Joseph et Albina (née Leblanc) Fortin. Épouse de feu Gilbert Vachon. Mère bien-aimée de Suzanne Mitchell (Bill) de Whitby, Gérard Vachon de Keswick, Marc Vachon et Colette Fraser (Claude Belcourt) tous deux de Sudbury. Prédécédée par son frère, Révérend Conrad Fortin, sj. Ses petits- enfants, Marc Mitchell de Calgary, Christine Mitchell (Ryan Wozney) et Andrea Mitchell toutes deux de Whitby, Matthew Fraser et Stéphanie Leduc tous deux de Sudbury garderont de doux souvenirs de sa tendresse. Sa participation dans une variété de chorales y-inclus le Bel Canto et la chorale de Saint Jean de Brébeuf a nourri son appréciation de la musique. Elle a bien joui de moments musicaux partagés autour du piano avec sa famille et ses amis. Sa voix et ses talents nous manqueront. La famille recevra parents et amis à la COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE, 222 boulevard Lasalle E. (angle Notre-Dame), Sudbury, lundi de 14 h à 17 h et 19 h à 21 h 30. La messe funéraire sera célébrée le mardi 18 janvier 2011 à 10 h 30 à la paroisse St-Jean-de-Brébeuf, Sudbury. VACHON, Thérèse (née Fortin) - The family announces with sorrow, her death in Sudbury, Wednesday, January 12 at the age of 81 ans. Daughter of the late Joseph and Albina (née Leblanc) Fortin. Wife of the late Gilbert Vachon. Beloved mother of Suzanne Mitchell (Bill) of Whitby, Gérard Vachon of Keswick, Marc Vachon and Colette Fraser (Claude Belcourt) both of Sudbury. Predeceased by her brother, Reverend Conrad Fortin, sj. Sadly missed by her grandchildren, Marc Mitchell of Calgary, Christine Mitchell (Ryan Wozney) and Andrea Mitchell both of Whitby, Matthew Fraser and Stéphanie Leduc both of Sudbury. Her lifelong appreciation of music gave her comfort and joy. She participated in various choirs throughout her life, including the Bel Canto and the Saint Jean de Brebeuf choirs. She was also the centre of singalongs during festive occasions in her home. Her voice will be sadly missed. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd. E. (at Notre-Dame), Sudbury, Monday from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. in St-Jean-de-Brébeuf Church, Sudbury. Mass donations (by cheque only) or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated
